Afgelopen september maakte studio Pieces Interactive bekend meer tijd nodig te hebben voor de ontwikkeling van de Alone in the Dark reboot en schoven ze de release door naar 16 januari van het aankomende jaar. Helaas blijkt ook dit niet realistisch.
De studio heeft bekend gemaakt dat de release wederom langer op zich laat wachten, we zullen namelijk geduld op moeten brengen tot 20 maart. De reden achter het uitstel kunnen we in ieder geval waarderen, in een verklaring geven ze aan crunch bij hun medewerkers tegen te willen gaan, een term waarmee ze aan geven dat medewerkers niet lange dagen door moeten werken en ook tijdens de feestdagen worden ingezet.
