Trailers van Spider-Man 2 belichten New York en Digital Deluxe Edition

Na het sterke Marvel's Spider-Man en Miles Morales komt Insomniac Games volgende maand met een derde deel, Marvel's Spider-Man 2. In een tweetal nieuwe trailers leggen ze de nadruk op New York, dat nu bestaat uit Brooklyn en Queens, en belichten ze de content van de Digital Deluxe Edition.
In de video belicht creative director Bryan Intihar de nieuwe locaties, wat niet gek is aangezien Marvel's New York verdubbeld is qua oppervlakte. Terwijl je over Queens en Brooklyn slingert kom je verhalende missies, sidequests en andere activiteiten tegen. Als wie je dit doet is aan de speler, binnen de open wereld kun je namelijk naadloos switchten tussen Peter Parker en Miles Morales. Bij sommige missies is het zelfs mogelijk dat je zelf bepaalt met wie je ze aanvangt.
Een tweede video gaat in op de eerder onthulde Digital Deluxe Edition, die tien exclusieve pakken bevat, alsmede additionele Photo Mode items en twee skillpoints. The EnC0ded Suit – Designed by Kris Anka: The EnC0ded Suit brings a cyberpunk flare to Miles Morales’ wardrobe! If you look closely at the suit, you may spot a few interesting details such as abstract lettering reminiscent of popular phrases from Spider-Man lore!
Biomechanical Suit – Designed by Jerad Marantz: The merger between organics and mechanics, the Biomechanical Suit is inspired by popular anime creature designs, pushing an “otherworldly” style in its use of materials and themes.
